I was the Squaudron Draftsman who designed and painted the squaudron HQ sign of the 'crossing helicopter tails' shown in your pic of Squadron HQ.

My CO was then LTC Robert F. Mollineli - the most courageous man I ever met and one who was universally respected and loved by all EM's and officers alike. For some reason, I was just thinking about LTC Mollineli this morning and decided to see what I could find out about him online, when I came acrossed this website.

Bob Herington...

Re: "El Loacho", do you know the tail number? If so, you might try looking it up on Joe Baugher's website. I can't post the link here, but just Google for "Joe Baugher" and visit his site...you'll know what to do.

enjoyed Bates' 240thAHC pix. I remember him as I flew
in 240th 70-71 as a Greyhound until last few weeks as
Skymaster16. Wished I had taken more pix. Thanks, Bates

Adding this entry for a friend - Doug Levick - who was a 67n with your unit - in 68-69 period. I met him at the VA today and he doesn't have a computor. If anyone remembers him or wants to contact him - email me and I will put you in contact with him.
