Hi, Just like to congratulate you on your most excellent website. I am a member of a LHG that owns a USMC UH-1E that has been restored to honour those men that served with squadron VMO-6. You can discover more about the project by visiting our website or viewing our facebook page BIRD 18, UH-1 HUEY, Marine Aircraft Group 36-UK. If you would care to add this squadron to the USMC tab on you website please use the information therein. Again great website very informative thanks, regards Pete.

I first signed in ten years ago. I now talk regularly with three buddies from my unit. C/4/77 ARA Camp Evans. I was there from sept. 70 to sept. 71, one month before typhoon Hester hit the base. I herd one wall of the hanger was blown out. I also herd that in December 71 our unit started packing up to go home. Would like to hear from other members I worked with during that time.Take care and stay safe.

Great source of history you have amassed here, thank you for taking the time. I'll leave you with a piece of trivia; E Troop, 1st Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment - not only does my father have his photo shown, but so does my mother!

I see my brother in the group pic near the bottom. I was only 5 or 6 when he left for VN. He passed in 2002. He was our giant teddy bear and will always be missed ❤️
