Comments: Thanks for your informative site. I was looking for a helicopter that a veteran recently told me about but we could not identify. He remembers it being called "lotus" or something similar. It was very small, just big enough for the warrant officer pilot and one passenger (him.) It was used for running messages by hand. It had no armaments, but described it's small size and maneuverability as what made him feel safe. He said he has never seen another like it since he left Vietnam in 1968.
That name, "lotus," may have been unofficial or perhaps the pilot's name for that airframe. Perhaps, it was never in wide service and only a few were acquired where and when he served. I'd like to find out what exactly it was and let him know.

My father recently passed away and my siblings and I were looking for any information about him as far as what his duties were while he served. If you have any information or any other pictures of him you would be willing to email we would really appreciate it. Also just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who has served our great country.
