Did you name your helicopter in Vietnam? I'm collecting Army helicopter names for VOL 2 of "U.S. Army Helicopter Names In Vietnam" to be published in 2015. Search your in-country photo/slide collections for personalized copter nose art & names. Search your memory & memoirs or query a buddy for his. Thank you gentlemen. I compiled a list of all the photos contained in my three helicopter books and ranked the top 14 units by quantity. The results give a clear indication of those units who liberally practiced a unit tradition of nose art painting. Counting up all the Dustoff/ Medevac photos they have 34 to their credit. The Chinooks have 76 images. Enjoy, John Brennan, 114 AHC, 1970-71

I was there from June 69 to June 70. I was a sp/5 and over battalion part when we move to the Big Red One's site. I have great and sad memories alike. Remember Randle Diefunbal, my old Buddy that went with me to Australia because Robert Burns couldn't go. Randal Caccmissie was in movie productions and was drafted.
It was a long time ago.
