Hi everyone

I was a member of Echo Troop from the begining. I was originally with Delta 227 Av. when they were merged with others to form Echo Troop 1st/9th Cav. It's been a long time since then and would love to here from anyone still around.

Take Care all

Ray White

I too was an original member of the 361st. I signed into the unit in August 1967 at Gray Base, Ft. Hood. I believe I was the thirteenth guy to sign into the unit. I was the the Como guy until I became a door gunner, while we still had C model Huey's (before they were traded in for Cobra's. I was promoted from Pvt E-2 to Sgt. E-5 while a member of the unit. I later went on to become a Warrent Officer pilot. I retired in 1991 as a Master Warrent SIP, having flown Huey's, Cobra's and, CH-47 Chinooks. My best wishes to all.

Ken

Was a member of the 20th Special Operations Squadron in 68-69 at Udorn Royal Thai Air Force Base. You do not include that base in your history of the Sqd. We were flying under the "call sign' "Pony Express". Our helicopters were CH-3s' and later HH-3s'.In 1969 the "Pony Express" was disbanded and all of the CH&HHs' went to the 21st SOS at NKP Thailand. There they were known as the "Dust Devils"
