Looking for familiar faces, and places. This site brought a zillion memories in all forms rushing back.I served under the 48th Assault Unit 1st Aviation Brigade. I was a Sr.Flt.Ops. between Sept. 21, 1969-Mar. 26, 1971 at Nihn Hua & Dong Hua.

I was with the 189th in 1969 as a door gunner and a crew chief on a C module gun ship. The picture you have are some of the guys i flew with. This is the first time that i have tried to look up any thing about the 189th. I lost every thing in a fire so all patches and uniforms are gone. If you know of any Avenger patches and Gost Rider patches i sure would like to have a pair of them.

I was the Squaudron Draftsman who designed and painted the squaudron HQ sign of the 'crossing helicopter tails' shown in your pic of Squadron HQ.

My CO was then LTC Robert F. Mollineli - the most courageous man I ever met and one who was universally respected and loved by all EM's and officers alike. For some reason, I was just thinking about LTC Mollineli this morning and decided to see what I could find out about him online, when I came acrossed this website.
