Comments: Found this site.... It appears that you were assigned to the 335th AHC at the same time as my father, SSG Lawrence F. Snair Jr. (USA-Ret/Deceased 2006) He was the 25th Med detachment Sgt with the "Cowboys" Talked alot about places like Plieku, Tay-Nihn, Kontum etc. Told me about a mid air collision in which both aircraft and crew were lost. He would have been an "Old Timer" during his tour as he was also a Korean War Vet (25th Infantry Division). Just wondering if anyone remembers the name. Thanks, his son SSG Eric A. Comments: Old memories from viewing your website. I was in 101st in 1971-72 after tour with 1st ARVN Div in 1969. Several assaults with 169th lift support. Worked area from Cam Lo down to Birmingham.

Comments: I graduated in class 67-503, served with the 129th AHC in Vietnam 1968-1969. After I was assigned to flight standards division at Ft. Rucker until September 1970.

Comments: Very nice site to visit, brings back a lot of good memory's, I was tdy with the 11th air assault in 64 in air assault ll as helicopter Mechanic. To have been part of that always made me feel proud to have served . In June of 65 my regular unit, 11th ord. Out of ft. Devens was sent to vn, landing in vung tau and later to the rice mill in cholon, Chinese section of Saigon.

Comments: I was in 180th Big Windy from apr 69-apr70 :) , started in maint. for 4-5 month then of to flight status, crewing and later fleng. rotated apr70.
