Comments: I'm looking for anyone who knew or served with my husband, William (Bill) Tignor. He died in May 2018 and all I know he was a gunner on helicopters and he has patch on his hat I have with 1st Avn Bde in Vietnam. He was in Vietnam 1966-1967 and 1969-1970. I have nothing as fast as pictures or any other info, I do have his DD 214's but to me it's like reading Greek😞. I really hope someone has info but would love copies of pictures anyone has. Thank everyone for reading. God bless you all.

Comments: Ran across your website looking for information about my father. War Wagon Aero Scout 3/5 cav D Troop Don Kargel. I enjoyed browsing through, Thank you all for your service.
Comments: I was with Delta Troop, 3/17th Air Cav, Bluetigers, 3rd platoon 69 to 70 in DiAn. I would like to thank every pilot, co-pilot and crew member that flew us on our missions, and a special thanks to the medivac crew that flew me to the hospital. You people went above and beyond the call and I for one would like to thank each and everyone of you!
Comments: Looking to interview anyone that flew in Lam Son 719 for a book that I am writing. It is as with my previous two books a novel, but I attempt to write them as historically accurate as possible attributing events to the proper units and people. Please contact me if you were there.

Comments: I served two tours in the Delta under the 164th CAG. My first tour was with the 336th AHC in Soc Trang, July 1968 thru July 1969. My 2nd tour was in Can Tho with the 18th CAC from Dec. 1971 thru Dec. 1972. My claim to fame is that I flew the last UH-1A mission flown in Vietnam in August 1968 when I flew the aircraft to Hotel-3 in Saigon to turn the aircraft in to be removed from service in the U.S. Army.
