Class of 66-19: Graduated Primary Helicopter Flight School Ft. Walters, Texas. Roommate to Gary Adkins and Jim Aleshire (deceased). California friends: Scott Baker (deceased), Jere Anderson, Gene Rockhill and Gregg Rennacker. Withdrew from flight school while at Ft. Rucker for personal reasons. Served reminder of my two year enlistment in Istanbul, Turkey attached to the Air Force doing a Navy job. Honorably Discharged Sgt. E5... Awarded Good Conduct Medal.

In my heart I will always be a part of 66-19...God bless you all.

I was with C Btry 4th Bn 77th Arty in 69/70. Though I was a helicopter Tech inspector I served as the motor Sargent (prior experience).

I have photos of a Cobra crew riding on the ammo doors of a Cobra after being rescued. One person is Mr. Gee I can't remember the other. Let me know if you would like copies. I also have other photos from that time and area.

I was in class 68-17 Graduated from Hunter AAF,GA July, 1968. First assignment 135 AHC, 145th AHB, attached to 11 ACR Blackhorse, RVN. Returned to Hunter AAF, October, 1969. Assigned to Co H, 5th Aircraft Mant Bn Ft. Stewart, Ga. Promoted from CW2 to 1LT AR, 1 Apr 2970.
