I served with the 326th Medivac at Camp Eagle from Sept 71 to standown. I was with the men who transported the colors bac to Ft. Campbell, Ky in Dec 1971.

I was with the 7/1st air cav in Vinh Long, Jan thru Dec of 1970. I was a door gunner, infantry in the bush, and ended up as a RTO in operations. Lost a good friend in a Loch

Flight Platoon Leader in 335 AHC, Fort Riley, KS 81-84. 335th became B & C Company, 1st Avn Bn (lift plts) and A Company, 1st Avn Bn (attack Plt). I was Section Leader, 2nd Platoon Leader, and then OPNS Officer for C Company. Flew Hueys, 58s, and later Blackhawks.

My first unit was Apache Troop in Vietnam. Only there for 3 months then sent to 18th CAC in Cantho when the troop stood down.
