Comments: I believe I have 1 of the 'beer can' pocket badge. I came by it in the mid to late 80's. It resurfaced recently and now that the internet exists, I thought I see what I could find out about it. I always thought it was a little unusual which made me want to know more about it

Comments: Great Site; Joined late (73) was Avionics Mechanic with B Co 159th Aviation Battalion, Ft Campbell Ky. Ch-47 B, C and Super C models. Loved the Chinook, spent 3 years in USAR with the 842 Signal Co. Pensacola Fla. Now I am an old man putting together memories of my army days for my grandkids. Thanks for this site.

Comments: Served in the 195th AHC from JUNE 68 to June 69 in the 2nd Air lift (Ghost Riders). Started out in aviation as a WOC at Fort Wolters in the 6th WOC CO (Orange Hats). Failed to get through instrument training at Fort Rucker. larry Hancher was my first crew chief and Tyler Furbush was my second. Ty was a great teacher and helped me to become a crew chief. Worked SOG missions a then I was General Emil Eschenbergs Crew Chief for the last 3 month of my tour. Any of you 195ers still vertical. If you get a chance, contact me.
