Hi I enjoyed your site. I am particularly interested to know where the picture of the C-7A on page 16 from Chip Decker was taken.I worked on one at Tay Ninh that ran over a bouncing betty on the runway

Just a quick Thank You. I enjoyed your site as I was at Camp Eagle for the 71 Bob Hope show. In fact MACV moved to Camp Eagle with the 1st ARVN DIV when the 101st left in March 72. I stayed for the Easter Offensive and didn't actually left Nam until November 72. This is how I ran across your site, I had been looking at some articles about Camp Eagle, thanks for the stories & pictures! ~Steve

I stumbled onto the VHPA website and it brought back some memories.
I was stationed at Headquarters Company 125th ATC Bien Hoa from 5 Dec 70 to 29 Nov 71.
I arrived a SP3 with a MOS in Aircraft Repair Parts.
With a recommendation from a new friend, the company CO assigned me the mail clerk/courier for the headquarters company.
Of all the guys I met as the mail clerk in those 11 months and 25 days in Bien Hoa and Long Binh, I do not remember anyone.

I started off in Warrior 19 before joining the T-Birds in 1968. Flew T-Bird 30, 34, 36,& 39 at different times. After the T-Bird gunships I turned to being a "Hangar Rat" in 1970 until my ETS in July of 1970. God bless you all!
